  • Q: How long do orders typically take to ship out?

    A: Orders can take anywhere between 1 - 7 business days to ship out. We tend to ship on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. 

  • Q: I chose the Local Pick Up Option… do I get a notification when my order is ready?

    A: Yes! We will email you to let you know that your order is ready for pickup so we can coordinate a time to leave it out on our front porch for you.

  • Q: Why do you only use essential oils and herbs, instead of fragrances?

    A: We find that keeping it “all naturale” is truly the best for our overall health, as fragrances can be endocrine disruptors as they can mimic hormones in the body and can cause a whole slew of issues & we only want the best for our clients and customers. We truly want you to be healthy and well, and would never put your health and wellness in harms way.

  • Q: Do you take efforts towards sustainability?

    A: Yes, indeed we do, as we find it incredibly important to ensure that we aren’t causing more harm to the planet. Firstly, we only use recycled materials to ship out orders as often as possible. Secondly, we use 10% of our proceeds to purchase Organic Seeds and help to replenish & repopulate the Earth with medicinal plants and ensure we aren’t taking more than we’re giving. Thirdly, we purchase all of the items to create our products from people whom are devoted to sustainability and honoring the Earth. 

  • Q: How long are your products good for?

    A: Our products like our balms, lip balms, facial products and teas stay good anywhere from 1-3 years from the make date on the package. It does depend on what kind of conditions they’re kept in. If they’re kept in a cool space, out of direct sunlight they will last longer than if they are exposed to high heats & direct sunlight. Our Tinctures stay good for 40 years or more, especially when kept in a cool, dark space. 

  • Q: Why don’t you include preservatives in your products?

    A: We purposefully only add what is absolutely necessary to our products. As essential oils, coconut oil, alcohol, carnauba wax and beeswax act as natural preservatives & we have found that they work well enough to keep our products good for 1-3 years, while tinctures last for 40+ years, naturally due to them being composed of alcohol. 

  • Q: What is your return policy?

    A: Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer the ability to return items, all sales are final. If your order was mixed up or improperly filled, or perhaps there was an issue that occurred in shipping, please contact us via email so we can resolve any issue. 

  • Q: What is your refund policy?

    A: In regard to products: We do not offer refunds once an order is shipped, or if you have custom ordered something, we do not offer refunds once it is made. In regard to sessions: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session for any reason, we require it is done with a 24 hour notice and if you cancel in that time frame, we will provide the refund to you (please note it can take 5-10 days on our payment processors side of things)Yet, we do not offer refunds on sessions that are already completed or no calls, no shows.

  • Q: I want to book a session… but I’m not sure what one would be most supportive for me right now, what should I do?

    A: We’d be happy to support you in finding what you feel would support you best. Please send us an email at info@theforbiddenfruit.org , letting us know where you’re at and what you’re looking for and we’ll point you in the direction of what we feel would be most supportive for you.
